It would be so easy to question God and ask why he has put me in the position that I find myself today. But surprisingly (and thankfully) I've come to terms with it really quickly...
An interesting thought was voiced to me through a person I would consider my mentor.
He said 'For people like you, things like this which would be MAJOR disasters for others, are just small detours on the road. Your disappointments and second choices are what others would consider miracles to have..."
And I find that what he says is actually true. I've been so blessed, that really, my second choice/back ups are much better than most people's first choice.
It is with this thought that I will sleep tonight, grateful in knowing that life and hope doesn't end here:)
