Patience is not a 4-letter word

It's eyes peaked above the water's surface. Movement in the far bushes. Prey. The vicious feline predator moved subtly towards the bank of the river. Its muscles pulsated, blood pumped, preparing itself for the exertion. Moving ever closer to the hapless victim, the Tiger prepared itself for the assualt, silently readying its limbs for the pounce that would cut into the hide of the antelop, and its teeth that would tear out its juggular. With a monumentous effort, the Tiger leapt out of the water, fangs bared and claws opened. Too soon. Having noticed the sudden movement, the antelop bolted off in the direction of the underbrush, beyond the reach and ability of the Tiger. It would go hungry tonight...

Moral of the Story? 1) Have more patience. 2) Can't think of anything else

I find that as I mature (hopefully xD) I seem to becoming more and more impatient with events that are unfolding. Be it sitting at the traffic light, waiting for the green, to waiting for the stupid highlights of the liverpool game to be unloaded, I find myself becoming more and more susceptible to anger and irritation.

Perhaps it's the overall pace of my life that has suddenly taken a upward blast, with IA's, homework, studying and training all viaing for a spot at the top of the list. Or perhaps it's just that I am more impatient. I need more time to cool off. With school moving at top gear, everything being due and what not, I find myself bobbing along like a boat on choppy water, hanging for dear life.

I need to be a better manager of what little time I do have, and stop being so impatient with people, events and activities. Perhaps I should stop and smell the roses more... I gotta learn to be like the tiger, being patient, and still persevering despite failure.
