It's one of those things that you just can't control. Sure it's shit, sure it's pissing off but it's just something you have got to accept. In all honesty, one thing that i can safely say that i learnt this year is this:
Sometimes life throws you curve balls. When they come, you either hit them out of the park or miss and strike out.
It's just something you've got to accept. Be it being beaten in a race cause you're sick or failing an exam cause you just couldn't sleep the night before. Both things you can't control. Both things you gotta accept. What you can do is pick yourself up after that.
I'm not going to boast and say that i can do this easily... let's face it no one can. Failure is an important part of life. As my coach once told me: "If the training doesn't kill you, it'll only make you stronger". Despite wanting to hit him over the head with my paddle when he said it, i have to admit, i wouldn't be who i am today, if i had just rolled over and died whenever some obstacle hit me.
So believe me when i say don't give up. Relax about it, and just learn from this experience. After all, that's why we train, go to school and mix about, to learn. To learn to cope with stress, to learn to cope with failure, to learn to cope with disappointment. All anyone can ever do, is pick yourself up and go again.
Don't give up; Don't let a tiny pitstop halt your charge through the race. It's not worth losing sleep over.
Cheer up!
Who by worrying can add a single hour to his life?
And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow.
They do not labour or spin.
Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendour is dressed like one of these.
Therefore Do not worry about tomorrow,
for tomorrow will worry about itself.
Each Day has enough trouble of its own.
